Client / Situation

  • Our client is a rapidly growing online marketplace where each month millions of consumers research purchases, connect with brands, transact, write reviews, and stay up to date on important consumer news, and which brands utilize their software-as-a-service platform to connect with customers, collect reviews, and generate sales
  • They engaged us to find a proven Strategy Manager to further develop their omni-channel marketing strategy, and will play a key role in unlocking profitability of marketing by owning strategy development and aligning teams to execute on the strategic roadmap

Objectives / Mandate

  • Act as key leader influencing omni-channel marketing strategy
  • Establish baseline for current omni-channel marketing drivers and develop strategy to grow marketing effectiveness
  • Create roadmap of strategic initiatives that will drive marketing effectiveness
  • Develop and test media mix modeling changes, channel optimizations, 1st/2nd/3rd party data usage, and creative rotations
  • Evaluate and analyze data with a blended approach from multiple sources to determine issues impacting the marketing performance
  • Serve as trusted advisor to VP of Marketing and the glue between all channel leaders and the business owners
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of developing credibility, providing high quality analytically based work product, and delivering on-time
